BBC Winterwatch returns to the home of Autumnwatch at the RSPB Arne Nature Reserve in Dorset. The show will return on Monday 23rd January 2017, for the traditional four episodes. It will be broadcasted on BBC Two hosted by the usual presenters and English naturalists, Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Martin Hughes-Games.

The home of Autumnwatch and upcoming series of Winterwatch, RSPB Arne Nature Reserve is a popular reserve in Dorset. Celebrated for its lowland heath and haven of wildlife even over the winter months, there is a variety of different habitats to see at the reserve.

The show will visit the Isle of Purbeck (part of the Arne Reserve) with its natural beauty looked after by the National Trust and the Dorset Wildlife Trust.

Remote cameras will be capturing the best of the wildlife at the reserve including various experiments, one being about garden birds being attracted to a particular colour of bird feeders.

The full schedule of the show is not known as of yet, so keep an eye out for the schedule nearer the time.

Times of broadcast

For four days, the show will broadcast on BBC Two on the following days:

  • Monday 23rd January, 8pm
  • Tuesday 24th January, 8pm
  • Wednesday 25th January, 8pm
  • Thursday 26th January, 8pm
