Making your own suet balls for birds can be fun, and is a great way to use up fat or suet leftovers in the kitchen. To make simply combine the fat or suet in a mixing bowl with either mixed bird seed, sunflower hearts or both. When the seeds and suet are well combined, using the warmth of your hands squish into the shape and size of a tennis ball.
